The birth of the Church.

What excuse or thing do we put before our relationship with Jesus that interferes with our following Him. Remember to 1) Count the cost; 2) Follow Immediately; 3) Do not look back.
Recounting what Jesus did to fulfill the promise of God to give us eternal life with Him if we so desire and choose.
Is your position in this world important to you? Are you tired of struggling with what the world expects of you? Then look to Jesus and be found in Him and allow the greatness of Jesus to be shown in your service to the Lord.
Is our lack of Faith in the work of Christ on the Cross for our disobedience getting in the way of that which God wants to do in our lives?
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do; because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. – John 14:12-14
Pastor Steve continues in Luke sharing on the transfiguration. Are we in a place with our relationship with Christ to be open to the things He will show us? Or, are we too entangled in the world that we miss the things Christ is showing us?
What have you decided? Is Jesus who He said He was? God loves you and has done it all that you can start a relationship that will last through all eternity. Come as you are and allow Him to work in your life and you will see and know His love.
What’s good about it? God has accomplished through His Son Jesus Christ the final atonement for our sin to reconcile us back to Himself for a relationship if we choose to.
Who do you say that Jesus is? IF we do not believe Jesus is who He said He was; then we have no salvation. We have to know that answer within our inner being and minds in order to be able to allow Jesus to disciple us, to come along side us, and to begin to overcome the struggles of the flesh.
When we pick up our cross daily Christ will be there with us. Matt 11:29-30 “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
When we are obedient to being a living sacrifice for Christ Jesus we will be amazed at the impact our obedience will have on those around us. There is no limit to how far God’s influence through us will reach even to rulers of society.
We should always be ready to minister when the Lord provides the opportunity even when it seems to be contrary to our own plans.
